Downside to growing up

The weather on Saturday was amazing! I was running around in shorts and happy to have a little warmth and sunlight in the ice-bowl (aka Logan.) My friend Megan and I had an epic idea: let's enjoy the sun and go swing at a park. So we headed over to Adam's park and started pumping our legs to take ourself to a little place that I like to call memory lane. I have to admit, I was proud of myself when I looked over at the five year old next to me who could not get high on the swings at all as I was close to flipping over the top of the swing because I was so high. About five minutes later, a harsh reality set in. I'm growing up and swinging has become extremely hard on my body. I have never been so motion sick in my life! And it was from something so simple. Luckily, I was not alone in this and Megan joined me in lying in the grass for a while to wait for the world to stop spinning. I wish I wasn't growing up. Swinging is way too fun to miss out on, but I don't believe it is worth the motion sickness that then follows.
